transmission cooler flush

Default transmission cooler flush

New rebuilt transmission on its way and before installation need to flush out the cooler and lines,any one have any ideas on this procedure. Thanks

Yep- Do what your rebuilder is almost certainly going to require for warranty coverage and get an external cooler.

Ros thanks for the info,now is the cooler the same that you can buy at the auto parts store.I added a tow package to a pick up truck once and added a cooler,is that what you are talking about.

Yep- but it has to be big enough- I am not sure what size to tell you, but I bet the rebuilder can. At least they have when I have installed a remanufactured unit.
