Trouble Codes XJ8
What do the following codes mean for a 2000 XJ8:
0352, 1316, 1313, 0302
What should I do to correct the intermittent problem of the car running with the RESTRICTED PERFORMANCE light showing?

In a nutshell you have a faulty coil pack on cylinder #2 (right hand A bank - USA passengers side, 2nd cylinder from front of engine).
The "0352" refers to the specific coil pack (035x is the code, where x is the cylinder number).
0302 = misfire cylinder #2
1316 / 1313 = injector misfire - you get this when a coil pack goes bad.
To double check :
- clear codes with your reader
- swap #1 and #2 coil packs around
- fire up and compare resulting codes. you should now have 0301 and 0351 which would confirm the coil pack.
