Default Turn Signal Stalk Resoldering

Wife used the Jag the other day, said the lights went out every time she signaled right, I thought she must have turned the switch off or something but sure enough, absolutely correct...engaging the right turn signal turned off the headlights, parking lights stayed on, but low and high beams switched off. Searched, found this is a relatively common issue so I've got the wheel off, covers off, signal stalk is loose but doesn't come out but I can access the solder points from below well enough to reflow the one pin I'll need to...but the question is, which pin? Photo is below, the blue wire is the broken one, but I'm unable to see where it needs to go, I'm sure its in the middle because that just would figure.

I've seen a couple photos of the pins and a couple wiring diagrams too, but I'll be darned if I can find any reference to a blue wire.

Doubtless this would be easier if I could just put the thing on the bench, but its pretty tight and I don't want to break anything I can't replace...can't figure out what wires are holding it in, so if anyone has an answer to that it'd help.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Maybe look for a used one on eBay and see if they have a good enough photo of the wires?

Did you see this picture on Ebay? Should be good enough to recognise where the blue wire goes.

Thanks guys, all sorted now.

I was able to eventually get the clip for the wires out of the steering column which gave me the slack I needed to pull the assembly out. From there I was able to more closely examine the solder joints and was able to find the one with the broken lead, which was on the pin in the middle, just behind the one with grey and red on my particular car. Maybe not the neatest soldering job I've done, but the wire is now firmly anchored and everything once again works as it should.

The damning issue here for me was the apparent inconsistency of the wiring used by Jaguar I'm guessing running changes in production, blinker switches made by various manufacturers or maybe mine isn't OEM for all I know.

Yes, it did not appear to me that the wiring colors were an exact match.
Very glad you were able to determine the fault and repair it.
