Tyres For My UK XJ
Hello, I realise there are quite a few posts on tyres in this forum, but they are mainly American based and I am UK based. Without being rude or anything, our roads and conditions vary greatly and I myself live in a country area with a lot of twisty and sometimes muddy roads.
I've just had two nails in both rear tyres, I picked up somewhere near work, so now need a new pair of rear tyres. I had the spare put on one side, and the other tyre was able to be repaired.
I was curious as to what British owners thoughts are on tyres, I don't want another pair of Pirellis because they're a bit loud. I have the Celtic 235/50 R17 wheels fitted to my XJ. What does anyone think of Toyo or Kumho tyres? I've been offered either of those at a very good price indeed. I'm interested in a quiter ride, whilst maintaining good handling. Thanks Guys! S.
