Back to working on CD player.the unit loads CD's and plays but no sound.
as suggested by Motorcarman I checked the continuity of cable LNF3650BC
no good ,so I have two options.take out center console and rear seats to change harness, not to big a deal.I picked up a radio sat nav cd player and amp with wiring harness and carpet from a 2001 VDP. so will this fit my 2000 XJ8. without to much trouble or am I going to run into a different wiring set up.any advice would be helpful before I begin.also if you could point me to a wiring diagram of the sat nav cd amp unit as there seems to be one multi plug missing in the trunk on the 2000 xj8 thanks jrb53
