Last year I used an old version of this check list when I bought my 99 XJ8. I have since updated it as I continue to learn about these cars. I've also added a couple of XK8 XKR Convertible items too.

The previous version is currently in the FAQ. I'd like to vette this version then I'll ask a moderator to update the FAQ's.

I'll also do a post over in the XK8 XKR forum to see what those guys have to say.

Sin, great list. I had my own version when i purchased my XJR a month ago but yours is much more complete. I missed the very small bubble in the headliner which will only grow over time so I'm going to get that done in the near future. good list for all potential buyers and thanks for sharing!
