as my key fob has not worked for some time i have been opening and locking car with "master key" i/e the black key, not a problem i can live with it ,BUT have pressed VALET BUTTON when cleaning ,how can i get valet switch off ? i can open boot with key but that is a pain,having to stop engine and take key out of ignition, if i disconnect battery for a while and reconnect will that do it or what problems may it cause, thanks to any one whocan help

 

mine switches off after i use the master key to open the boot once.

 

The same issue happened me yesterday. I solved the problem by openening the car using the trunk. Then valet mode was off.

I had this problem. It turned out to be broken wires in the RH boot hinge. See if your trunk lights and license plate lights work. I know it sounds strange, but it has happened to many people.
