Default Value of a used SLCM module that needs refurbishing?

I've got a formerly working x308 SLCM security module from my vehicle, so version/vin-number is known, that got wet (for a couple hours, not flood damage) and would need electronic-refurbishing to be revived - is there any value as a slcm core? If so, who would want it?

I've not heard of anybody rebuilding the security or even body modules so the answer to your question would be $0 as there are no core charges.

Go on Ebay. There are a few "rebuilders" that advertise that if you send them your slcm, they will fix it and return. Maybe they might be interested in a "core". Or you could have it fixed and keep as a spare.

You could also contact people like Module Master to ask if they want them.

I tossed mine when I traded the car: but I believe there is an outfit in Idaho that rebuilds them. Expensive, tho, and counting S&H doubt you could recover your cost by selling on eBay.
