Tried good quality aftermarket and had a leak. i just did it again with OEM Jag dealer gaskets ordered by VIN to ensure correct gasket and right fit. Little more cost and no leak. My $0.02

The key to making sure whatever gaskets you get and having them leak free is replacing all 28 bolt head seals. It's what applies the pressure to the valve covers themselves and holds them down even more so.

The AJ26 covers are different. You can buy AJ27 Supercharged Cam Covers and use the aftermarket seals. As long as the cam covers don't have the VVT actuator hole/seal in the top.

The early AJ26 gaskets are thicker and one is orange, the other is grey.

Nd you can get an aftermarket set of them via SNG.

Important: you MUST use RTV on the areas between the cam cover and block to make it sealed. If you don't, you'll have a leak again.

I just spoke with my parts guy at the dealer (Langley Jaguar- Tim) about this same topic for mine yesterday.
'MAHLE' gaskets were recommended by him, as the OEM's were not around.
Just my 2 cents!
