As I want to use LPg on my car I googled a little bit around. They told me that the 4.2 had problems with valve seats.
Is this although true for the older 4.0 Kompressor engine? I can't believe that Jaguar-Ford used weak material for a Kompressor engined car? I saw that som valve seats come moving in overheating but that is differen stuff.

What is the truth!

I have only been on the forums for a little less than 4 years, but do not recall any posts dealing with valve seat problems, other than those relating to overheating. Try using the search engine.
