Jaguar X308 XJR 1999:
I have an issue with a washer. When I push the button for a short windshield washing the washer turns on (water is running) but the wiper does not move. Other wiper functions work fine.
Is it a software problem which could be re-programmed?

 

It isn't programmed, it is most likely a switch or wire problem. When you press wash it powers the pump and the wiper motor.

Actually, I just found it in the manual. The button stops working when the display shows low level of washing liquid which is my case. The sensor in my washer tank has probably got stuck....
