Default What Jaguar forums do you visit?

For me, I used to go to jag-lovers.org until I found jaguarforums.com. Jag lovers was pretty terrible. Horrible website format from the 90s, and questions were rarely answered. Responses to questions were sometimes even personal conversations between two people about non-car related topics like their favorite food with no mention of the OP's question! There were some interesting people on there though. There was a XJR6 engineer who worked on the XJR6 project who had alot of insight.

Roadfly.org was ok. Seems to be dead now. For some reason, it seemed like alot of people on that forum hated their Jags.

Jaguar forums, on the other hand, is GREAT.

Jaglovers once in a while....There is some great info there, but the setup does look outdated and isn't too user friendly...some great members there too!

Roadfly - again really once in a blue moon. Doesn't seem like there's too much going on and again not overly user friendly IMO

Jagforums.co.uk - good site, good setup / info and people, visit occasionally.

Jaguarforums.com is HOME

The Jag-lovers site is being overhauled, as far as I know. Not sure of the timetable. Their forums are rather clunky because the format is one of the very few that has an interface with old fashioned email....important because a large percentge of thier membership stills prefers email....which is how J-L started in '93 or so.

Over the years I found that every Jaguar site (and forum sections within each site) develops a personality of sorts. I enjoy them all and know that no single site can be all things to all people all the time. The same can be said of any automotive discussion site.

Cheers
DD

My list is the same as Jims, I may be biased but I find this site has the best base of regular members who give good and prompt advice to those who need it.

Doug, it seems you have a fanbase, take a look here https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=51168

Doug puts it very well I think, no one forum seems to be able to be all things to all people!

I guess we have our stengths and weaknesses as the rest of them do but try to actively improve as much as we can when we can. I am biased I know, but I also happen to think we have some of the best members around

I used to "roadfly" a bit. Haven't for a while. But more activity and better format here. I think bojangles is still over there, I used to read some of his posts for the in depth analysis...Bruce, you are probably on here as well aren't you?

Never could get the hang of Jaglovers.

I have been doing a lot of research on DIY and I have captured many articles on the following forums:
Piston Heads
Jaguar Clubs of North America (JCNA)
Roadfly
Max Performance Cars - tool loaner program - not sure if it is still available
Jaguar Forum UK
Jag Lovers - Jaguar World Monthly Magazine

I agree that Jaguar Forums (this forum) is the best

My goodness. I'm flattered. Thanks for the kind words.

I enjoy helping when I can.

Used to visit others, but none had the quality or class of this one... I don't visit them anymore.

THIS ONE. The people are the best and the site is top notch. I feel like I have a Jag family here! You can't ask for anything more. "Why go anywhere else?" :-)
