IM trying to see if I can get the transmission fluid changed and the filter. The dealership said it can be done on this one and that it is 1000.00

Im also looking at tuning up the engine, but dont know what brand plugs are oem and what exactly is involved in a tune-up on these.

My owners manual makes reference to NKG brand plugs.

NGK definitly. Also, if you try other plugs, the cars seem to not run as well. They are cheap enough now from the dealer. Change the fuel filter too.

I have always beleived that the factory plugs are the best and wires too, especially when dealing with Ford stuff.

Whats the NGK number that I should use. The book says something xxxxx-11E, but my parts guy said the only one showing has the exact same number except without the E on the end.

Spark plugs:

Trans filter change will run about $250 for the gasket, o-ring, filter and 14 quarts of fluid. Do you have the machine to do the flush and fill?
