My brother's XJ8 has 2 broken head lights. One on the outer side and one of the inner. I don't know, maybe the inner is a fog. Actually it also has the marker cover in the front bumper broken. (My guess is that my nephew got the car vandalized).

Besides that, is that a place to get these lights after market or used? Also, is there a way to determine if this car is a 305 model or 350?

 

not to sound trite, but have you tried ebay or amazon? i know welsh enterprises also has some great supplies for our jags.

 

An x 308 has headlights that are the same size. X350 has the inner light smaller than the outer light. Different grill, shorter boot and bonnet, more bulbous body

 

Generally, for the north american market the X300 is 1995-1997, the X308 is 1998-2003, the X350 is 2004-2007, the X351 is 2011-present, and the X358 is 2008-2009.

Ebay is an excellent place to score parts, you might be able to find everything you need from the same seller and get a deal on shipping. Lots of places accept low best offers so that is also always worth a shot.

Thank for the head up. I did get a head light assembly from eBay. I'm going to install this assembly then try to repair the other.

I just left the ******* to get an oil filter and crush washer. About $28 for the filter and $18 for the pan bolt. Ouch! What brand/company makes the oil filters? I'm sure there is a better/cheaper source for these OEM parts.
