Wife Trophied!
No, that isn't trophy wife. Marlyn picked up a first in class at the Idyllwild Concours sponsored by the Inland Empire Jaguar Club last weekend.
I've been in a few car shows over the years but never a concours. I wasn't planning on entering originally, but her car was pretty clean to start, so I figured if the canvas was this clean, why not? Spent about 30 hours on it last week. Got some laughs from her when she saw me using Q-Tips on it, but it paid off. Will make it easier to keep it up in the future.
Learned a lot. Actually, better than that; also learned a lot about the car from a very close inspection while detailing and through the judging process. Here's a couple of photos:
