Both my radio and AC display seems to be cracked up. (Some dark spots/stripes) Would a radio and AC displayunit from 01 fit in my 98. Or is the wiring harness different after 00?
My audio system is HK, will a "non HK" radiodisplay work aswell?
...then go to pg 82 and 83, there you'll find the wire guide for the standard and premium sound system from '98 up. I am almost positive the '01 unit will work in yours barring the settings for Europe. I've read where others had to adjust the radio settings to make it work, others not...so I don't know that scenario to give you an answer.
You should have a yellow Ford umbilical connector and using the guide, be able to match up the color schematic. Mine is a 2000 Premium w/Alpine and the colors matched.

not sure if both your units are the same?
my 99 had the non navigation radio and my 01 has the navigation .. the wiring on the back is totally different!.. its not only one additional plug for navi but everything including phone is integrated in 2 different plugs.
