Discovered a score on the windshield along the upper outer arc of the wiper. Something must have got trapped on the blade?
Is there a rubbing compound available to remove the score?

Depends on how deep the scratch is.....

If you can find some cerium oxide paste, that works nicely for short, superficial scratches - most eyeglass vendors have it for their own use; you might ask some locals near you.

 

You could try Silvo, it worked on my specs that were lightly scratched. Brasso is more abrasive.
