Default Windshield Washer nipple On cowl Broken. Part Number?

So I had to remove my windshield cowl to find where my interior leak was coming from. In the process of removing the hose that goes from the wiper blade to the cowl itself, I broke the plastic nipple on the COWL side.

If you look at the cowl, right where the rubber tube plugs into it, there is a circular piece with a nipple sticking off of it. On the back side, a bigger tube is attached to it.

I have been trying to find this nipple piece online and have not been able to. There doesn't even seen to be any mention of it as an existing part...even in the diagrams. So is this part not available? I see that it can come off and out of the cowl, so it isn't build INTO the cowl itself.

The part number is GJA8969AB from here...
Screenwash System - Parts For XJ Series from (V)812317 to (V)F59525 (X308) | Jaguar Heritage Parts UK

A motorfactors or aquarium supply should have T's and elbows you can use. I've bought a box in the past to make up screen washer lines on the classic cars I work on so if you can't locate the part go this route and use an o-ring to seal and secure.

Did you find the scuttle drain blocked, usually leaves and crud.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the PN.

Regarding my interior leak. I sprayed water on the windshield and under the cowl area and noticed the water was just pooling up under the cowl and not draining. There's one drain hole on the plastic cover underneath the wiper motor. I found a rubber flap covering the hole...I assume it is supposed to be there and allow for the water to drain slowly? Not sure...well, I grabbed that and it just came out altogether and the water dumped out. I'm fine with not having it in there.

However, I found the leak was coming from a split seam in the panel under the cowl area. Right where the two metal panels join. There is supposed to be a sealant there that had split, allowing the water to leak into the car. I sealed the split, and will see if the leak is taken care of tomorrow after everything is cured up.

Thanks all. Now I just have to take my washer bottle out and find where the cracks are so I can actually retain fluid and use the washer!

Looks like you found - how to remove the wiper pivot arms yesterday:

You need to remove the wiper arms and the remove the fasteners holding down the facia grate. Once that is done the piece is easy to change.
To remove the wiper arms you need to lift the rear of the arm pivot cover and there is a nut under there to remove. Spray some rust buster and use a 2 arm puller to remove the arm. The facia grate comes right off once all of the screws are removed.

Here is the cowl r&I from the JTIS software: (I added photo of the cowl and the wiper pivot arm removal procedure reference)

Here is the wiper pivot arm R&I

I plan on painting the cowling & wiper arm when I have them off for this repair. Anyone know it's original color, for I've never seen one without years of sun & weather exposure etc.

Thanks
