Windshield washer tubing size?
While getting a new battery -- I walked into the store (Pep Boys) to get some small rubber tubing as the washer tubing has developed a small leak ... they don't sell it? Only the hard tube for emission hook up! So ... I went over to Advanced ... nope.
Something so simple ... I can order it online. Does anybody know if it is measured form the inside or outside -- I'm assuming its metric in MM.
Has to be around 7mm
Jaguar looks to only sell the whole arm.

Below is a link to the catalogue page for SNG Barratt. I purchased my washer system parts from them. If you download the x308 catalogue all of the info is on catalog page 84.

I would follow avern1's direction...I tried to replace my wiper line just from age perspective and found the piece is form fitted at just the right spots to allow it to work with the action of the wiper. I tried other hosing to no avail, I wound up reusing mine.
If you haven't taken it off of the pass through connector coming up to the wiper, don't be surprised if it breaks. That's the part that gets brittle with time, that was the only piece on the spray line I had to replace. In case you need it...GJA8969AB...they're on ebay from $11.60-17.90.

Thanks ... I'm just going to order the hose using the diagram. The parts guy told me it was was part of the wiper?
The dealer replaced the whole assembly when the car was a few years old -- the washer head had cracked .... so it's a bit newer.
I was able to get he hose off the fitting -- the leak was just at that point. I cut off the end and reattached -- I think it will be Ok. Still going to replace .. too important to not have a working washer in my area.

Just ordered Dayco 80209 washer tubing. OD .219 ID .109
ID might be a little small so might have to heat and soften end before install. Has anyone tried this washer hose?

My dealer had the short hose -- they had a few so i got a deal ... I think it lists for $17.00. I had to order both of the visor clips. I think they are $10 bucks.
Like MB .... The pricing on many of the small stuff has to be 10-15 dollars -- it costs that much to maintain the paperwork. Least they have it available

Glad for this post. I'll be needing new hose soon, as ours was cut 3 inches below the wiper arm.
