Default To worry, or not to worry?

I recently changed the fuel pumps on my 2002 xjr. When I checked to see if it had fuel pressure, the valve stem on the fuel pressure schrader valve fell down somewhere between the supercharger and left side head. It didn't fall on the ground. I have looked and looked. Used a pick to try and catch it somewhere. No luck. Should I worry about the valve stem starting a fire?

I wouldn't worry about it, it is probably sitting safely in some dark crevice doing no harm.

Yes, it is made of high temp plastic and it won't even melt. And it will not come in contact with the exhaust manifold.

The cap from my schrader valve is almost certainly in the exact same crevasse....and there it shall stay unless you happen to identify the precise location. Besides, it was difficult to remove and having it gone will make the next fuel pump change easier.
