X308.3.2 Iridium Spark Plugs
I am sure this topic has been beaten to death somewhere here but cannot find the answer to what is the correct NGK part number for Iridium plugs for the 3.2 engine (1999) Are the 3.2 and 4litre the exact same plug?
It would seem this engine never got to the USA where these are cheaper, they have no listing for this engine.
Any-one been here before?

Thanks Plums. Yes they do. First place I went. But (always a but) They suggest that PFR5G-13E is the correct standard plug but when you try to cross reference to Iridium they do not show on their website.
Hence the post,I am sure some-one must know, mainly if the 4 ltr and 3.2 take the same plug.I assume yes but would rather be exact.

The reply from NGK for this region was:
PFR5G-13E is a platinum plug.
We do not list an iridium option for this application.
Kind regards
Customer service.

If you cross-reference the two applications in the application guide and there is a match in the platinum, then it is likely the iridium are also a match.
BTW, beyond supposedly longer life, there is no point in the iridium anyways.
If you change them at 50k or less, there really is no point in spending the money.
