Default X308 XJ8 3.2 1998 Driver's window and remote opening.

I'm facing a very strange issue in a 1998 XJ8 3.2 European version that has to do with the driver's window and the remote.
This car has no sunroof so that's not something for me to worry about. I've done the hard reset by unplugging the battery and touching the negative and positive cables of the car which has worked like a charm, however, after said reset the window is working but the remote not quite. Sometimes it will open the trunk, sometimes it would just close the doors or open them. It's not an issue of batteries because they were just replaced as well as the remote was serviced and cleaned so there's no gunk in it that would impede the contact.
It's quite annoying in the Bulgarian winter especially since it is my daily driver and once you hit the road and suddenly find out the window is not working it's frustrating when you need to get a parking ticket in some public parking for instance.
I also have a craziness coming from the windshield wiper that stops whenever and wherever it wants and it will always go back on, put it'll move a few times before stopping and it might stop anywhere, including in the middle of the windshield which is dangerous even. The relays located on the left hand by the radiator were changed for new ones but it did not make any difference.
Thanks for any and all of your inputs.

Yes, the central licking works perfectly using the key on the driver’s door and also using the button on the center console to lick and unlock. Also, when the remote works it operates without any issue. Sometimes with the remote it would either only open or only close.

In my car SLMC what reads the remote was acting up like not always opening doors no matter how long or close the car I pressed remote buttons. Eventually I fiqured that there is bad solder joints in the slmc pcb. I sent it to be re soldered and they said it had a lot of bad joints. It is yet to be seen did it work the issue. I quess it does. This does not apply to the door window issue though. You may have two or three faults on at the same time.

Faulty windscreen motor can easily be very weird. It can stop where you stop it, it can be not stopped at all and or may stop anywhere. Try to make it fail and when it stops itself does RedYellow wire have full voltage at the wiper motor ? Does Blue wire have voltage at the same time?
