Default XJ Range Instrument Cluster R&I FAQ

Hi
Here is XJ Instrument Cluster Removal & Install extract from JTIS21 Shop Manual:

First you have to remove the Instrument Cluster Finish Panel (the wood veneer) - you need to grab it hard from both ends and pull it towards you to release the retaining clips.

Also be careful when you come to the step of removing the 2 harness multiplugs - they have a locking lever system -the lever tab locks over a higher protruding part.
I broke both of the locking levers when I had a hard time trying to get them to move (they still hold the connectors together, but no longer lock).

Here is a photo of the Instrument Cluster that shows the 2 Harness multiplugs:
