I was driving home yesterday when i lost traction and I might have hit a rock in the grass but not sure when i had arrived home the car smelled hot and 2 streams of oil were on the ground i spun the car around and parked it in the grass to avoid messing up my driveway but to no avail. The leak is from the left rear and I know its oil. In thinking its the oil pan that was punctured when i turned the car on and observed it. Can anyone tell me if this is a oil pan or somthing worse and if you can do it at home I love this car and want to get it out again. I can get a video tomarow and will post it

 

I scrubbed these spots last night with just about everything but the 2 lines are vusible in some spots

I'm not sure what your explaining? Better pics would definitely help. You say you lost traction and was leaking oil (do you mean differential fluid?), turned around in the grass and is now leaking more oil from possibly hitting a rock? From the left rear of what...the rear end or motor? No, we can't tell you if its the oil pan without seeing pics and a better explanation.

 

You need to get it trucked to your dealer or independent so they could put it on a lift and examine it.
