Hi All: Need your professional advice! 98 XJ8 has correct memory in regards to the mirrors and steering wheel but not for the seat positions. Have replaced the seat memory module--same results. Did the recommended check for the "pots" and they are O.K. Door modules must be O.K. (?? ) as they do function correctly for the mirrors and the wheel. Wonder what to do next. Any suggestion(s) would be appreciated. Also does any know what the little brown " cube ", that's about 1 by 1 by .5 inches that is mounted on the hinged plate that the seat module is attached to. Cannot find anything like it on the electrical schematics.( schematics show a relay for the seat heaters; but my car does not have them ) This does not look like a relay but I wonder if it plays any role in the seat memory function.
