Hi so ive always wondered can you put a XJR supercharger on the XJ8 N/A engine? if so is it difficult to do so? and if not does any other 4.2L superchargers out there already fit the XJ8?

Please search supercharging a normally aspirated engine or some combination of words as this subject has been beaten to death.

HINT: (cheaper to sell your car and buy the XJR)

 

Reminds of the "olde days" when I keyholed the intake of my 200 cubic inch
straight six in a 65 Ford Mustang to install two new carburetors. The Mustang
was such a light car, it actually made quite a bit of difference. It would have
been much wiser just to replace the six with a high performance 289.
