Is XJR exhaust system different to XJ8?

Default Is XJR exhaust system different to XJ8?

Hi guys.
Can anybody tell me of complete exhaust sytem on XJR is different to XJ8 for sure? I'm looking for the new system. There is a lot of offers on eBay but they are for n/supercharge engines and i wounder what's the difference. Parts catalogue shows different numbers but i can't find new system for ЧОК anywhere.

Water Dragon...I could wrong but I was under the impression that the XJR's were fitted with larger bore tubing?

All I can tell you is all 3 of mine, 2 xjrs and 1 xj8 all measured the same with a caliper.

I have heard the same and that the only difference is the exhaust tips.

In fact, the engineering team did not have enough funds to do a "proper" exhaust is what I actually read somewhere among other things......

Same cats on my 3. 2002 XJR and XJ8, and same as on my 2000 XJR

Exhausts are the same but there's a couple variations of how they attach to the cats among the different years and models. Slip-on versus flanges.

Yes. This one i know. Also tips. And looks like this is everything)
Bought complete exhaust from ebay. Only think is missing left tailbox with XJR tip. Will buy it fron sngbarratt.

I'm worried about removing the resonator because it can prevent to clean cylinders well. I've done it on my BMW GT 550 but it's twin turbo. And i really like to have the Jag like from new.
