I replaced my fuel pumps in my xjr a few months ago and reinstalled the fuel tank and now it only shows empty with the light on. I still can drive it but need
to keep track of the fuel used which still works. what I would like to know is there a fuse or something? I bought another sending unit and still getting the same thing so really don't know what is going on. I hope someone has something that might help.

 

oops let me explain my problem better, the car works great, just the gas gauge show empty and light stays on even when the tank is full. I've replaced the in tank sending unit and still have the same problem. is there a fuse or something that I don't know about?

 

ok took the fuel tank back out check all wiring put it back in checked the voltage to the
fuel gauge and not getting anything, getting almost ground reading on the red/white and
nothing on the green/brown should I be getting some voltage reading there when the key
is on? what should it be, where is the relay/fuse?
