XJR - is this leaking coolant hose part of climate system
over the past few months my XJR has been triggering the low coolant light and requiring a topup every 3-4 weeks. Today I investigated this and found drips coming off of where the trans. connects to the engine. looking upwards the trail leads to the driver's (left hand drive) side of the throttle body area.
here is the "seepage"
here is an image of the situation from further away
has anyone had an issue with this hose before?
It seems to be part of the climate control hose system. Looks like the Throttle body will have to come off for the 4th time in my possession.
Does anyone know if this "tee" is item reference #8 at this link (Jaguar Classic Parts)? Heater Pipes Feed and Return - Parts For XJ Series from (V)812317 to (V)F59525 (X308) | Jaguar Heritage Parts UK
thanks in advance for any assistance.
