Do the XJR cars have a plastic or metal housing if so what years

The X350 XJR has a metal thermostat housing and water rail...

I believe the other supercharged engines also have metal, it was only the naturally aspirated engines that got plastic...

And you can buy after-market aluminium ones anyway.

Ah OK, i've moved this thread from the X350 to the X308 section, 2001 model is an X308...

And to answer your question, yes an X308 XJR has a metal thermostat housing.

To be clear, tailfin- The X-308 XJRs all have metal housings, ant the housing is completely different from the plastic NA housing.
