Xkr100 to xjr100 engine swap,
I have a xjr100 needing an engine and i have available a motor from a damaged xkr100, is this a straight swap.both 2002. Both usa spec.

 

Yes, no modifications needed on the replacement engine. I would replace the rear main oil seal and cap seal 2” above it. I would also replace the timing cover and valve cover gaskets while it’s all out and easy. The only other thing I’d do is flush out the engine oil cooler to be on the safe side.
