That definitely wasn’t you saying that all “these diy guys cry about everything”. 😂

Well, Hoovies Garage is not the dumbest car channel on youtube.
WatchJRGo is.
Sorry, but after seeing three videos about this XJ8 I am just frustrated.

That guy had every bit in his agenda to keep some (not me) people on the edge of their seat. How so? He removed the D/S VC off and immediately said it was out of time. The cams flats weren’t even that close to being timed because the crank needed to be rotated more.

he decided to not give up 😎 they are in time relative to each other but somebody could have tried to do it with no crank lock tool.

It appears he's trying to get the engine to run without the inlet plenum installed ahead of the throttle so the MAF isn't being sensed by the PCM.

If you don't know what you're doing, don't touch the vehicle! Now it's Jaguar's fault.

It is almost ALWAYS somebody else who is at fault. Sensationalism is a human fault
that is almost always magnified by larger audiences.

Haven't seen the vid. But I've seen one of his vids, and that was enough.

Turns out this engine runs fine without the MAF, just like every other car on the planet. I troubleshoot fast and one of the first things is tossing the MAF (just unplug it) on most vehicles, the crank sensor should be enough to start/run the entire engine. I've rebuilt hundreds of cars on YouTube at some point you'd think "maybe he's done this before".

I don't think there is much more to be said.
