Default 1991 XJ6 dies when gas pedal pressed hard

So I just bought a 1985 XJ6. My XJ40 has now been sitting for a week while I get to know my 1985. I got in to drive her around today and she had a REALLY hard time starting. When she did start, as soon as I pressed the gas down, she sputtered and died. Started her again, (took a long time again) then when baby gas pedal she is okay, but onced pressed down, she died again...
Before she sat for a week, she ran excellent!

Thoughts? Advise?

Sat for a week then problems? Check the battery! Then check and make sure air filter is clean, with the weather variations across the country may have mice in air cleaner. Seen this when cars sit.

Socal:
I smell a possible fuel pressure test in your future... First thing I'd do is swap out the fuel pump relay with another one nearby and see if that changes anything.

No codes?
