The stereo in my car has three issues;

1. The power antenna doesn't go up or down. It is currently in the down position. The fuse is fine. What else should I be checking?

2. I get absolutely no sound from any speaker in the car, not even static whether I use the radio or cassette tape player.

3. The 6 disc cartridge for the CD player is missing. Can I just pick up one at one of the big box electronic stores or is there something special I need to take into consideration when getting one? I'm assuming these are a standard item.

All the buttons on the stereo system appear to be working properly as are all of the lights.
I disconnected the battery to fix the fuel pump, but I have the security code and put it in whcih removed the word "CODE" from the display.

 

Don't bother fixing it. Systems with CD changers are fazed out. You can upgrade to a IPOD ready system for as little as $200 US. Today most systems come equipped for IPOD or MP3 use. Get rid of the CD's, download them onto an IPOD or MP3 player.
