Default 1992 Jaguar XJ6 VCM Question

My second post, big learning curve going taking place.

If I reset the VCM it displays a 0,0DIST (didn't even know I had a VCM until I came across the subject in the owners manual)
I don't see an error code 0,0 in my owners manual, so I'm not sure if this is a normal indication after reset or if it is actually telling me the car has a problem.

My other post from earlier today was about not getting fuel to the fuel rail.

Since I don't know if 0,0DIST is a problem or not I don't know if the 2 conditions are related or not.

Advice, questions, comments, suggestions, sympathy, etc...

Thanks,

Jeff

If I'm reading you correctly, what you are looking at is the trip odometer which has not recorded any distance traveled since the last time it was reset, or since the battery was recharged or reconnected.

0,0 DIST is like what JagTechOhio told you . It shows you the distance since you last reset kinda like Trip or odometer ,nothing is wrong don't worry
