Default 1992 XJ40 Needle Bearing

I am looking for the Needle Bearing for my steering rack. This is the Combined Needle Bearing. It says "Nadella 10687". Where can I buy this?

Hi
jerry_hoback, tried every possible means to search and locate but no luck. I checked with Martin Robey and they said Jaguar never listed this bearing as a spare part. As a last resort, I came here.

"Nadella" quite likely is nothing more than the abbreviation for "Nadellager" which ist german for needle bearing. The number then might be specific to the rack manufacturer. I would measure the bearing and try to source something generic.
On a 1992 I assume this is a ZF rack.

AFAIK, if you get with Timkin, you can get pretty much any kind of bearing with the proper dimensions. That, or a salvage yard/Ebay, though not sure the likelihood of finding just the bearing on the latter.

Try searching just the number 10687 in the online catalogs for major bearing OEMs like Timken, SKF, Koyo, INA, NTN, VDO, ***, ZF, IBC, Stieber, ZEN, CSC, GRW, GMN, etc. You may get a hit.

Cheers,

Don
