Hello,
you are in the wrong section. You should be in xj40 section, where there is more expertise on the xj6 from 1994.
but for what it is worth:
- Did he replace the battery or charge it? A battery in bad condition can cause confusing issues. So make sure the battery is in good condition
- second: earth wires..... Make sure all earht connections are in good condition!

Welcome to the forum Chris,
I've moved your question from XJ6 & XJ12 Series I, II & III to XJ40 forum. Members here with the same model will be able to help.

Hi Chris,
Welcome to the Jaguar Forums!
There is probably a simple answer to the problem. To echo Wilfred's comments, low battery voltage is a common cause of odd hard-to-diagnose gremlins on Jaguars, and corrosion on ground studs is another very common cause of strange issues. The car may need a new battery, but it also needs a thorough check of the electrical systems, including load testing the battery, testing the charging system, and either measuring resistances in the battery power and ground connections or just cleaning all of them (not hard, but some of them are not easily accessible).
The interior lights, blinkers and hazards may or may not have anything to do with the battery going flat, but you can start by examining the eletrical schematics for any common points shared by those lighting circuits that could make all of them inoperative. I would have a look at the schematics myself but I've got to run. You can download the 1993/94 XJ Electrical Guide here:

Please keep us informed.
Cheers,
