Hello. Ive been struggling for the past week to find the correct seal kit for my xj6. Its a 1991 and on the back is says "Vanden plas" on the drivers side, and "majestic" on the other side if that makes a difference. I bought the edelmann 9102 which says it's fits on their website, but its not correct. Most of the seals are different. The closest thing I was able to find was a 1977 xj6 kit from moss, but I'm going to assume that probably won't work. The main thing I need is the input seals. It uses a small seal that looks like a small axle bearing type of seal. Metal outside coated in rubber with a lip seal on the inside, and another smaller outer lip I assume to act as a dust shield I assume. Like a double lip seal, with the inner fat lip for sealing, and a thinner outer lip to keep the dust away.

The seal in question:
Here's a picture of the Edelmann kit I bought. The old seal is at the top for comparison, no seal. And it also doesn't have the fat orings that seal the piston and spring cover:
and more pics showing the piston and the whole input shaft seal housing and bearing:
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

There are two brands of steering rack fitted to the XJ40, later cars have the ZF and earlier cars have an Adwest. You should check which one you have at this site, the parts go by VIN #, not necessarily year.
