'92 3.2 XJ40 brake warning light.
Hi all,
When I use my brakes the (o) warning light flashes on the dash each time I release them (as the brake pedal switch turns off). It was intemittant but now does it every time, even when I gently touch the brake pedal and just activate the switch.
I have checked the connections that I can see, the pads look ok, brake fluid is at the correct level and the brakes are working well. VCM says 'FAIL'.
Can anyone give me a heads up on this? low vacuum??

Hmm, yours lights up when you release the brakes?? Mine flashed when I applied them. Duff accumulator sphere for me.
Check the inline brake fuses above the inertia switch, OZ car, right side above accelerator pedal.

Thank you,
I will check out your suggestions and let you know how I went.
I have a vehicle hoist at my factory but will be away next week.
As this issue started out as an intemittent fault I didn't suspect a fuse - unless it is the fuse connection.
