I have been told the 93 & 94 XJ40 had the same security system as on the 93 & 94 XJS. Can anyone confirm? If they are the same, can anyone tell me where the security ECM (computer) is located on the XJ40. On the XJS, it is the trunk behind the power antenna.

No they are NOT the same parts. Quite a bit of difference between the coupe/conv. and the sedans.

On the sedan, it's a pain to get to. Below the fuel filler, on top of the LH rear wheelarch, behind a bolt-in panel that hides/protects it.
