Default 93 Brake Light How To Remove Circuit Board

On the high "3rd" brake light on my 93 XJ40, I can't figure out how to remove the circuit board so that I can reflow the solder. I get the cover off, get all 4 bulbs working then put cover back on and 2 of the bulbs will be out. Take cover off again get all 4 bulbs working again, reinstall the cover and then the different 2 will work. It is so frustrating and I don't want to knock it off the windscreen. I just want the circuit board out. Has anyone done this before?
Thank you, Dean (ProQuest)

I haven't done the third brake light but have re flowed the tail lights.

If the attachment is similar, you have to melt the **** off the attachment points to get the board to release. Use a soldering iron.

You can similarly re-attach the board again by remelting the same ****.
