Airconditioner

Need Help, MY AC is not working correctly, it could be the relay switch however I do not know which one it is or where to find it. Can someone provide me with the location for the relay switch and scamatics to the airconditioning system for my 1994 XJ6. I thank you in advance.

Be more specific please! Does your fan turn on but the compressor doesn't? Do they both turn on but it doesn't get cold? Does nothing turn on at all?

The compressor does not turn on the fan works fine, the line is charged and no leaks, my mechanic thinks its a relay to the compressor, or a presure valve. I need to know where I would find the relay to the compressor. thanks

Sometimes there can be a leak in the system, and when the refrigerant runs out, you could never tell if there where a leak. The system will prevent the compressor from turning on if the refrigerant runs out! Your fan will work fine, and your AC compressor should work fine if you recharge the system. Then just check where the leak is coming from and fix it. You could check your relays though, but that I think you would need the manual for!

The lbs of freon are correct, it seems that the first issue to resolve would be to check the relay switch. I just don't it is located, I need a scamatic or someone to tell me were in the engine compartment.
