And another thing..

Why dont they make performace parts like ANYWHERE for the XJ40...its so lame the only thing Ive ever found was a complete air intake for like 10 HP. That XP Jaguar site is awesome minus the fact the XJ40 is the only model that doesnt have "make it go faster parts"..Im a speed freak which is why I want a damn XJR..haha. The first thing I would do is prolly buy that upgraded supercharger pulley from that site which gets the HP up close to the V8 version! Id be one very happy person.

I suppose it's the low production numbers of the Jaguar cars. The cost of tooling up to make parts for a limited production car that even a smaller group of those owners want to go fast. It's a numbers game for the most part.

You can still tune up your PCM this is what I'm gonna do when my XJ40 is off the restoration lol

I mean reprogramming the PCM just liek we did in our fleets .It helps you improve fuel economy but main purpose is to obtain some performance gains , I believe you can get 10% gains ,15% more torque too .
BTW, ken knows better than me but Ihave seen some XJ40 XJR models w/ different bumpers as well as grills. I thinkthey shouldhavedifferent engines too
