Bluetooth Adapter not working
Hello!
I've ordered a Bluetooth connector for my Alpine radio which connects to the mbus port for the CD changer.
The problem is I cant get it to play. It lights up, connects to my phone but the radio won't let me switch to CD.
Any idea what i can do?

Not sure about the component you've purchased (link?) but the unit I use is the Yatour Alpine usb/sd card CD emulator.
It connects via the din cable in the trunk and is controlled by the cd changer up front. I load mp3's onto a SD card or thumb drive and plug them into the Yatour. I bought mine as the basic unit without bluetooth but I believe it is available as an accessory.

This is the unit i bought.
I will look at a junk yard, maybe i can find an original cd player to see if the audio works with the cd player. If not, the problem is in the head unit.
The yatour unit seems to be very good. Is your unit installed in an XJ40?
