Default Easy Bluetooth connection

Hi All,
I tried this cheap $30 Bluetooth cassette adaptor, it works great with my android phone and my I-pod. Goodbye six CD changer!
As we all have cassette players in our vehicles I thought I should pass it on.
I did not see anything on this during a search so hopefully it will be useful. PS I got mine from the Source, I believe it is Radio Shack in the U.S.

Regards,
Karl

If it is within 90 days they should replace it for free.

I had provided a discussion of this device under the thread "Poor Man's Bluetooth" https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...dsfree-156593/

I have been quite pleased with this device.

Wish the darn mic cable was longer. If I call or receive a call, people say they can barely hear me..........is there a fix???

Cheers

Amazon adverts have a habit of disappearing so I've posted the image and description here.

Hi. And what is the sound quality with this thing? Do you use it for music playing or just for telephone?

I've had one of these for a couple of years and use it for music.
The sound quality is fine as far as I'm concerned.

I use mine for Pandora when I am doing longer drives (most of my drives are short to-and-from work) and sound quality strikes me as very good--just like listening to regular radio or CD's.

I also tried the phone thing a couple of times using my Galaxy S6 and the person at the other end said they had no problem hearing me so I assume that little mic dongle is working fine.

How in the world does supply power to power a Bluetooth connection and charge a device? Are the wheels spinning tiny generators in there? This is actually kinda fascinating...

I got some digital AUX input adaptor that I've forgotten now that replaced my changer input and plugs in back there. Hardwire, Lightning cable in the console, charges. I love adapting the clean stock head units one way or the other while they last.

Chris--I guess this is the only "shortcoming" in the design of this thing. It has to be charged up while not installed in the cassette player. I suppose you can somehow rig something up to be able to charge from your cigarette lighter while the thing is being used but then you would have wires dangling everywhere.
