Brake Lights wont come on.
Im helping out a buddy of mine on his mom's 89 XJ6. Suddenly the brake lights dont come on when you press the brake pedal. I've read the FSM, fixed it, but now its back the same. Checked the brake switch and its still good.
Now, i understand that when car is off, theres really no brake pressure, so i can mash brake pedal and brake lights come off/on fine. But when the car is on, they dont work no more.
Checked all fuses etc. Everything.
Please help.

Just a heads up...this should be in the XJ40 section, but not to worry.
I would look at the lighting logic module or the body control module. It's an electrical issue, and trust me, you don't want my help on electrical. I would start there.
