Found this link I have an 1988,the 1988 and 1989 have different brakes than the rest of the xj40s. That said I found EBC Green Stuff Brake Pads for, the front,however they do not list them for the back. They do show them for the 1990 on for the back. My ques is there a difference to the point that 1990 rear brake pads would not fit an 1988. I ordered the front ones,and might order the back but want to know if they will fit first of all. Any who the link list all performance brakes for the xj6 cars, hope it helps ppl looking for brakes. I mean is it a censer issue or something, would be most thankful for any help.

1990 Front and rear pads are a different configuration and will not fit the 1988/ 1989 XJ6 calipers.

 

Thanks for the info, so what are my options if i want a very high end pad for the rear.
