Default Brake pressure warning light help

Hi,

Recently purchased a 1990 4.0l XJ40 sovereign in need of a bit of work. While driving it back from the chap I bought it from the brake pressure light came on, and then started flickering with no regularity on and off. Didn't seem to matter if we were moving or stationary.

Done a load of searching on the net trying to diagnose this - I've done the pumping the brake pedal and all seems fine. If I start the car up, the light doesn't come on for around a minute, sometimes 2 minutes, and then it will come on for maybe 30 seconds and then start flickering randomly almost as if a sensor was playing up. It then may disappear for a minute, and come back on. The brakes seem to work fine.

Due to take this round Europe soon so would like some guidence on whether I should be concerned about this, and if so, if anyone has ideas as to what I can check. The more detail the better Attached picture of the light below.

Cheers, Mark
