when i turn my key to accessories (not starting the engine), is the a/c relay supposed to click? it clicks loud and then a smaller click after that so i unplugged the relay and no more click. im pretty sure this didnt start happening until i unhooked the battery and plugged it back in.

 

so i put the relay back in made sure it was tight, and now it doesnt click. the relay for the h/lamp wash is missing though....?

 

The headlamp washer relay will only be present on a Sovereign / Daimler model XJ40 as they came with the washers for the headlamps! if you only have a base
'40 then it will be missing.
