Now that's an oil debate if I saw one!
I am sure it's do-able,these cars came with either -or.
I have yet to get to the lights on my parts car,Cin prefers the roundies anyway.I think the squaries give more usable light,IMO.
Cheers,Jim.

Hi Stilling,
Yes, it's absolutely possible to make the switch. I went the other way and replaced our rectangular lamps with the quad round lamps. The main thing you will probably have to do is to either change the two front Bulb Failure Modules (BFMs) or splice in new electrical connectors for the bulbs.
On our '93 I used Cibie round lamps that use H4 and H7 European style bulbs, so I just replaced the electrical connectors on my existing BFMs.
The lamps just attach with a few screws, but you need to remove the grill to access some of them. The grill inserts attach with just four Phillips head screws, then the grill is attached with a few hex head screws or nuts.
Let us know if you go through with the swap and please post some photos showing the process if you can.
Cheers,
Don
I decided that i want one of each model / engine type, so half with rectangular and half double round headlights, but many are in pretty bad shape so i thought it i find them all with round headlights i could just switch headlights on some of them.
